Who's Ky?!

After graduating from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, Wa. 2002, Ky got hired immediately to tour with nationally renowned Missoula Children's Theatre.

Quicker then that, he hit the 7 seas with Royal Caribbean Cruise lines as a Krooze Komic. This is where all of the variety arts started to take hold. After finding his land legs again, that first year he performed at ACT and Village theater in Seattle. Needing to round out the year, stumbled across an opportunity traveling to State and County fairs developing a Kid's Pedal Tractor Pull competition/show. After helping build a business over 13 years that traveled as far South as Naples Florida, North to the Calgary Stampede, and those places in between like the Houston Livestock show and L.A. County fair. The continued education of an industry he grew to love, coupled with a new skill set of fabrication of building silly fun stuff, it was time to take those tools and put them to work. 

Enter, Ole Pappy's Trapper Cabin. Blessed to have called Bend Oregon home for almost a decade is where the idea for the PNW's only mobile escaperoom was born. Filling a need for more family friendly entertainment. Ole Pappy's hit the ground running, with bookings at Monkless Brewing, Sunriver resorts, the culinary college as well as a number of different house parties and corporate team bondings. After a couple years of running that a new need developed. A lot of folks didn't have the resources or space to host a 20' cabin at their home. Knocking on the door were the STEaM Punk Steamer trunks. A nice option for birthday's, family reunions, schools, libraries, or any function we can get creative with!
